Hello and welcome! I am a parenting coach and mentor with more than 15 years of experience consulting with parents and educating them in the emotional language of babies.

Responsive- heart based- parenting creates an emotional blueprint that will be the basis for your baby’s view of his or her self and world throughout life. Your baby is creating memories and beliefs about self and world and even experiencing physiological adaptations because of every experience.

Understanding your baby’s cues and fulfilling your baby’s needs can be confusing in our culture. New parents have not been around many newborns and no longer live in close communities where they have strong support networks to help them understand their baby’s innate language and way of communicating.

My approach is holistic and involves the connection between emotions and body. You and your baby are constantly communicating and the interplay of language is physical as well as emotional.

I work very closely with you to mentor and guide you in learning optimal ways to nurture secure attachment and bonding. By understanding your baby and responding in ways that fulfill and validate his or her expressions and needs you will be connected in vital ways and your child will grow with a strong a sense of their authentic self.

I am also a Reiki Master and well versed in many energy-healing techniques that effect the subtle energies we embody, facilitate a calm and loving state of being and promote vibrant health. Energy work complements responsive parenting. Many clients have found it very helpful when I bring relaxing and opening energy techniques into our sessions.
